It's time to call Allisanne and get back into lessons, methinks.
Violin:
Bouree - Bach - Use this for warm-ups.
Concerto in A minor, 1st Movement - Vivaldi - Start relearning this movement. Take it slow and easy.
Technique: Use 3-octave G major scale to focus on bowing and shifting practice. Practice intonation and scales in multiple positions, and also scales on one string. i iv v i arpeggios, starting with Gm and Dm, with inversions.
Start putting vibrato on easier, longer-note phrases. Concentrate on consistent, slow vibration, and continuous vibrato between notes.
Pay attention to bow elbow during downbows. Think about overextending without actually doing so to try to smooth out the mid-bow tremor. Also pay attention to keeping the elbow on the same plane when on one string.

I'm currently going through a crapload of medical issues, and was recently diagnosed (and then had the diagnosis confirmed in a both an in-network second opinion, and a second option at the Mayo Clinic) with Multiple Sclerosis. At the Mayo, they were nice enough to also diagnose me with fibromyalgia, something I was completely not expecting. That's a lot of what my journal's about these days, behind a friendslock. I'd rather not have to be posting about it, but eh.
I also post a lot about this neat guy I met who lives in Baltimore, my boyfriend ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) av8rmike. He's keeping me sane through this all. But a lot of the posts about him are sappy as can be, because he's so absolutely wonderful, and I'm completely head-over-heels in love with him.
